Johan has a Ph.D. in Mathematics, specializing in applied high-dimensional stochastic control problems from University of Technology Sydney. His background includes trading technology consulting, bonds and FX trading at MW Epoch, and quantitative strategy design for Opus.
Director, Technology & Operations
Nich has nearly 40 years of experience designing and building IT systems. He honed his business skills as Director of Business Development for Cable & Wireless and through multiple start-ups. At Opus, he led the design and build of the data platform and execution engine, and then was responsible for getting the fund FCA approved and regulated.
Head of Investor Relations
Jimmy leads investor relations and capital partner engagement. With several decades of experience in financial markets, he has held senior roles at major institutions, specializing in sales and relationship management across equities, derivatives, and structured products.
Head of Engineering
At Opus, John maintained and extended the data platform and built deployment, orchestration, and automation. He previously worked across fintechs including TP ICAP, Selectapension, MessersFS, and King Street Apps, specializing in microservices, financial data services, FIX protocol, and DevOps.
Board Member and Advisor
Tim is a life-long serial entrepreneur with over twenty years of market trading systems R&D. He also holds a patent in document control. His previous businesses include PC manufacturing in Taiwan/UK and founding the second largest ISP in the UK, sold to C&W in 1999, as well as Opus Technology.
